Alyssa began her training at Southern Performing Arts Academy at the age of 3 and went on to audition and join the studio’s company ‘Southern Ballet Theatre’ in 2009. During this time she studied ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, and hip hop.

Alyssa has danced in major productions such as Maleficent, Frozen: A Tale of The Ice Queen, Rapunzel, Aladdin, A Very Grinchy Christmas, Polar Express, and Nutcracker. Throughout her training she was able to attend Boca Ballet’s 5-week summer intensive where she trained under company directors and was chosen to perform in Balanchine’s ‘Serenade’ at the end of the summer.

Alyssa attended and performed in South Eastern Regional Ballet Association festivals from 2013-2017 where she took pas de deux, ballet, pointe, contemporary, and jazz from master teachers. She also performed works in their festivals and later auditioned for Atlanta Ballet’s pre-professional company and was able to train with a focus on Ballet, Pointe, Variations and modern. She was able to perform sections of La Bayadere, original work by Armando Luna, Bruce Well’s Beauty And The Beast, closed John Mcfall’s Nutcracker, and premiered Yuri Possokhov’s Nutcracker at The Fox Theatre from 2017-2019.

Currently Alyssa is a company member with City Gate Dance Theatre in Atlanta, as well as teaches and choreographs for studios, competitions, and high schools in Gwinnett.
